I started tattooing people as a troubled incarcerated youth. In my early 20s after leaving prison, I began looking for an apprenticeship or a foot in the door to professional tattooing, which I found in York, PA. I tattooed in and around pennsylvania and Maryland for a couple of years. I eventually moved back to Raleigh, NC, where I decided to settle and learn more about the design and creative aspect to tattooing. Through years of focusing on the educational side to design and tattoo application, I became proficient in several styles including American Traditional, Japanese Traditional, Fine Line Biker, Black traditional and even my own style!
